Kostka team Czech Republic won 15 medals on Footbike World Championship 2014
On the last weekend of August the Footbike World Championship 2014 took its place in Western Bohemian metropolis of Czech Republic - Pilsen. Among other competitors from 20 countries and 3 continents the Kostka team members gained 15 valuable medals, of which 3 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze.
After 2 years the championship changed its location when it was moved from German St.Wendel to Czech Pilsen, which can be named as a true Mekka of Czech Footbiking. To make this championship more attractive even for general public a race named “Footbike for Fun” was also organised, which could be attended by everybody regardless his/her age or physical condition. Also here the members of Kostka team gained the first positions.

The Australian team performed extremely well with all places achieved being personal best times in all events
The Kostka sponsored Footbike World Championships were again close competition with the 2 strongest nations the Dutch and the Czech Republic taking out most of the medals. The Finns and the French were next on the medal count, with Australia taking a creditable 5th spot, ahead of the Germans. Congratulations on Mirjam and Ali achieving Podium finishes in their age category, and to Mirjam, Michal and David for great results in the first ever Footbike World Championships. The next Footbike World Championship will be held in Brisbane 2016.
